Our journey begins in Miraflores, where we will marvel at the Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial temple of the Lima culture, from the comfort of our bus. We will then traverse El Olivar park in the heart of the San Isidro district before making our way to the Historic Center of Lima. Here, we will meander through streets and squares that exude colonial charm, with a visit to Plaza Mayor to admire iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral, Government Palace, and Archbishop's Palace. Our exploration will also take us to the Convent of San Francisco, home to the renowned catacombs, a colonial-era cemetery that once accommodated approximately 25,000 individuals. Upon concluding our visit to the Catacombs, we will return to Miraflores, having gained a deeper understanding of Lima's captivating history.
